Top Ten Locker Rooms Etiquette Tips

Now that fall is upon us, kids are back in school and we have returned from summer vacations, we should take the time to refresh our locker room etiquette. These are just a few friendly reminders to be courteous to fellow Members in the locker room:
  1. Please support our Locker Rooms staff and refrain from leaving towels on the floors, benches, or in the wet areas. Please kindly place them in the towel bins provided for your convenience.
  2. Please perform personal grooming in a proper manner (Ex. Do not clip toenails and leave the clippings on the floor.)
  3. Please be respectful with water usage, and do not walk away from water running in the sinks, showers, or steam rooms. Please help us conserve water by being environmentally conscious in this manner.
  4. Please refrain from talking loudly on your cell phones in the locker rooms, as this is a place intended for quiet relaxation.
  5. When sitting in lounge areas, please make sure you are either clothed or wearing a robe that provides proper coverage. (Wearing only a towel or nothing at all is unacceptable.)
  6. For sanitary purposes, please obey posted signage and refrain from shaving or using a loofah in the steam rooms, dry sauna, or whirlpool, and please shower before using these areas.
  7. To avoid damaging the sensors in the dry sauna, please do not pour water on the rocks, which can cause the sauna to be closed for repair.
  8. Please refrain from eating in the dry sauna, steam rooms, or whirlpool areas.
  9. Please respect the club closure times (10 p.m. M-F and 9 p.m. Sat/Sun) and make sure you are exiting the locker rooms by this time, just as is required in all other areas of the club.
  10. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times when in the dry sauna or steam rooms. Children in the Resident Locker Rooms must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
If all Members will follow these ten simple tips, the quality and standard of your "Home Away From Home” will be unparalleled.
Let us make your second home the best it can be!
