We love doing crafts in the Bungalow and Houstonian Hideout with the kids and we wanted to share some of our favorite ideas with you all. Let the family fun begin with these fun simple crafts that will help beat boredom any day of the week:
Although messy and time-consuming, some may not realize all the important skills our kids are gaining as they pile on glue and glitter. According to Scholastic, younger kids crafting helps fine tune motor skills and develop critical thinking skills. As they get older, crafting allows for creativity to flow and helps develop patience. Some steps may be harder than others and some may take longer than others, but the result is always worth it especially when done with friends and family!

This year has gone by so fast, and we are so incredibly grateful to have been able to share so many memories with you all! We are looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year at our upcoming events and programs. Camp is right around the corner and registration will be opening soon. Remember to check your Houstonian app and follow The Houstonian Club on all social media to stay up to date on our most current announcements!
